The Annual Sports Technology Awards Power List has included Ticketmaster Sport as part of its Top 100 brands for the year, demonstrating the company’s commitment to leveraging technology to enhance the sports experience.

From the award-winning Away Ticketing technology to Virtual Venue and a new enhanced analytics offering using AI, Ticketmaster is always looking to innovate in a scalable fashion to support the growth of its clients.

Rebecca Hopkins, CEO of the STA Group commented: “Ticketmaster Sport impressed the panel for many reasons, not least as they seem to create innovative solutions which are firmly fan and client-led.”

This achievement marks a significant milestone in Ticketmaster Sport’s journey, signaling its commitment to leading the charge in sports technology innovation.

Away Ticketing

Ticketmaster’s Away Digital Ticketing technology has been successfully trialled and is now being rolled out across more clubs in the EFL, eliminating the need for physical away tickets and saving clubs time and resources. The technology has been praised by clubs like Lincoln F.C., Oxford United F.C., and Peterborough F.C. for its efficiency and ease of use.

Enhanced Analytics

Ticketmaster Sport has enhanced its analytical tools with custom-built AI models to help teams make informed decisions about ticket sales and marketing. The tools overlay client ticket sales data with performance intelligence from data experts, Prospect, allowing teams to analyse variables such as fixture details, team strength, and pricing to shape future ticketing strategies. The technology is already being successfully piloted by the Welsh Rugby Union and Lincoln City FC.

Virtual Venue

The Virtual Venue technology now in place worldwide with over 300 clients allows fans to preview seats in a life-like 360 view before purchasing tickets. This innovative technology enhances the fan experience by providing real-time availability of tickets and enabling fans to compare different sections before making their purchase decision.
