Bolton Wanderers is extending its partnership with Ticketmaster Sport, further building on the strong relationship between the two organisations. “Our roadmaps are aligned, and we are delighted to be extending our long-standing partnership with Ticketmaster,” said Daniel Scott, Head of Ticketing at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to enhancing the fan experience and delivering best-in-class solutions. Currently, 75% of all ticket sales at Bolton are digital, with supporters able to store season tickets in Google or Apple wallets. Scott emphasised that the partnership with Ticketmaster has been instrumental in helping Bolton achieve key objectives, including driving sales growth across ticketing, memberships, and the commercial department.

Bolton Launch Virtual Venue

Bolton Wanderers is a prime example of how Ticketmaster’s market-leading technology can be utilised to its fullest potential. The club will leverage Virtual Venue, the innovative 3D tool that allows fans to preview seat views before purchasing, to streamline the ticket-buying journey. Additionally, Bolton will be launching Ticket Exchange to ensure every seat in the stadium is occupied.

The commitment to innovation extends even to away supporters. Through collaboration with other EFL League One clubs using Ticketmaster Sport, Bolton will enable them to sell tickets for Bolton’s away section directly through their own platforms.

“Extending with Bolton Wanderers for the long haul shows how committed we both are to innovation and the fans. As our partnership grows, Bolton supporters can enjoy the benefits of our top-notch digital ticketing solutions,” said Chris Gratton, Managing Director of Ticketmaster Sport.

It will also be available for season ticket purchases and renewals for the 2025/26 campaign, making it even easier for fans to select their ideal seats.
