Scottish Premiership club Hibernian FC have renewed with Ticketmaster as their ticketing supplier for a new long-term deal. Hibs will stay in the Ticketmaster family alongside clubs such as Celtic FC and Heart of Midlothian FC.

Hibernian’s Head of Ticketing, Aidan Gorman, who has been working for the Hibs since 2018 when the club first partnered with Ticketmaster, sat down with Ticketmaster to explain their decision to renew.

“We are delighted to extend our long standing partnership with Ticketmaster Sport. One of our biggest aims here at Hibs is to continually improve the matchday experience here at Easter Road. With Ticketmaster Sport’s continued growth set out in their roadmap, we are seeing great improvements and enhancements to the platform from both a supporter and admin user perspective.”

Ticketing accounts for more than half of the club’s revenue, which is why Hibernian’s decision to choose the right ticketing partner is key to their financial success. Gorman explained that the team were looking for “flexibility, adaptability and reliability” in a ticketing partner, and the key factors for renewing with Ticketmaster were the company’s “innovative and progressive roadmap and vision for ticketing” which impressed Gorman and the team.

Another key factor is the support they receive from the Client Account Manager Carol Ferrari, who acts as an extension of their ticketing team and has been working with Hibs since 2011. As Gorman explained, Carol has been “a real solid and consistent account manager who it’s been a privilege working with since I joined the Club in 2018.”

“It has been an exciting journey working with Hibernian FC and their ticketing team for over a decade. They consistently explore innovative ways and technologies to enhance the fans experience. I look forward to continue this partnership with Aidan and the team for the years ahead.”
