Relevant industry research is vital to future-proof the ticketing experience. With this in mind, Ticketmaster is pleased to announce they will be Collaborate programme partners with the leading sporting university in the UK, Loughborough University, for the third year running.

“Ticketmaster recognizes the immense value that students bring to the table with their fresh perspectives and innovative ideas. We are delighted to be Collaborate partners with Loughborough University London students for a third year, knowing that their insights and findings will contribute towards the continuous improvement of our services, and ultimately benefit our customers.”

Chris Gratton, Managing Director at Ticketmaster Sport UK

Loughborough has an unrivalled sporting reputation and is one of the top 20 research-led universities in the country. In 2022 the Collaborate partnership involved students being chosen to work closely with the Ticketmaster team to produce research that has true industry relevance.

Ticketmaster had a positive experience with the Loughborough students who worked with relevant clients in order to support their research. Ticketmaster is looking forward to seeing what the third year of Collaborate programme brings, with Balakrishna Patange being the chosen student who will focus on NFTs and the Web 3.0.

“I am very excited to be a part of the collaboration between Ticketmaster and Loughborough University, who are the two premier organisations in their fields. This collaboration aims to change the landscape of sports ticketing and the sports industry as a whole and I’m sure this research will open up new avenues for the exploration of utility and benefits of the Web 3.0 technology in our day-to-day lives.”
