Ticketmaster is now the exclusive ticketing partner for the NHL’s Montreal Canadiens and Groupe CH’s 20 Quebec-based venues and festivals.

Ticketmaster, the global leader in ticketing, announced a long-term, exclusive ticketing partnership with Montreal-based Groupe CH, one of the world’s top ranked sports & entertainment companies, which manages more than 1,500 events every year across 20 venues and festival sites.

Ticketmaster will serve as the official primary and resale ticketing partner for the Montreal Canadiens, Bell Centre, Place Bell, MTelus, the Corona Theatre and more, providing a safe and secure platform for fans to buy, sell and transfer verified tickets. The deal also includes numerous high-profile festivals including Osheaga, Heavy Montreal, and Ile Soniq.

With this partnership, Montreal Canadiens fans will enjoy a significantly streamlined ticket purchase and event experience at Bell Centre as the team integrates Ticketmaster’s market-leading technology into the official Montreal Canadiens mobile app. All Groupe CH’s teams, venues and festivals will utilise Ticketmaster’s digital ticketing and fan identity platform – Ticketmaster Presence – to personalise the event experience, including everything from venue entry to upgraded offerings. Fans will access tickets on their mobile devices and can download tickets to their digital wallets to expedite entry.

“Groupe CH has experienced tremendous growth over recent years, and we’re excited to partner with a global leader like Ticketmaster who will not only provide the technology and scale to power the ticketing of our teams, venues and events, but also help us amplify our digital marketing capabilities,” said France Margaret Bélanger, EVP Commercial and Corporate Affairs of the Montreal Canadiens. “Ticketmaster’s digital entry experience will be of particular interest to our fans based on its success in dramatically reducing fraudulent tickets while also delivering creative fan engagement opportunities.”
