Leicestershire County Cricket Club is delighted to announce a unique collaboration with Ticketmaster Sport to provide additional sports ticketing technology and services, to help the club prepare for the return of spectators during the 2021 season.


The Running Foxes are looking forward to a busy schedule at the Uptonsteel County Ground with the new season only 6 weeks away. The club are due to host India’s test sides’ final warm up match, against India A, from Wednesday 28 July to Saturday 31 July 2021, ahead of the Test series with England.


Earlier in the week, the UK Government announced a ‘roadmap’ out of lockdown which included a plan of all social distancing measures being eased by 21 June 2021. The club welcomed the news, however, to better prepare Leicestershire County Cricket Club for different scenarios, including social distancing fans with ease, Ticketmaster’s COVID-19 tools suite will allow for actions to be put in place at short notice.


With Virat Kohli’s team descending on the Uptonsteel County Ground, the match is expected to be in high demand and will provide a unique opportunity for cricket fans to experience global cricket superstars in action before the Test series.
