As 2026 begins, Bromley FC find themselves in a strong position at the top of the table in their second season in League Two. Promotion in 2024 brought increased demand and greater visibility in the local area and the need to “level up its operations on and off the pitch” as the club adapted to life at a higher level. The club needed to scale effectively, from matchday operations to supporter engagement. To support that growth, Bromley extended their partnership with Ticketmaster Sport.

The impact was felt immediately. “We saw a major spike in season ticket sales,” Mark Bonello, Ticketing & Retail Manager, explains, alongside a noticeable increase in supporters attending fixtures who may not have previously engaged with Bromley. For a small team, scaling matchday operations meant embracing digital solutions.

Digital ticketing is driving how we are both selling and distributing our tickets on a matchday,” with online sales and immediate ticket fulfilment helping to make “the supporter purchasing journey as easy as possible.”

Working with Ticketmaster Sport and its white label platform has enabled Bromley to streamline ticket sales and fulfilment. With the majority of supporters purchasing online and receiving tickets instantly, pressure on the ticket office has reduced, while sales operations continue to run smoothly in the build-up to each fixture.

Reliability and Flexibility

Choosing Ticketmaster Sport was a considered decision. “Ticketmaster presented a known quantity in the football league,” Bonello adds, with its widespread adoption across the EFL making it “really well suited for our needs as a growing club.”

Data now plays a central role in Bromley’s ticketing strategy, particularly following the redevelopment of the East Stand. By analysing previous purchasers, repeat attendance and in-depth scanning data, the club can better understand demand, predict sales curves and even anticipate food and beverage spend based on kick-off times. Attendance insights are also used to “keep these attendees in contact with the club” after matches, helping to build longer-term relationships.

Operational Efficiency

On matchdays, the operational benefits are clear. Digital tickets have enabled faster entry, simpler scanning at turnstiles and quicker issue resolution using Ticketmaster Sport’s tools. This allows Bromley to focus staff resources where they matter most, while delivering a smoother experience for supporters.

Looking ahead, Bromley see their partnership with Ticketmaster Sport as key to continued growth. With ambitions to sell out the CopperJax Community Stadium, the club is focused on converting one-time buyers into repeat visitors and, ultimately, season ticket holders, using a wide range of platform capabilities to deepen fan engagement.
