Adam Newsam
Managing Director - Ticketmaster Sport

Adam’s role as Managing Director, Ticketmaster Sport means he is responsible for our UK sports business, international tournaments, and for the development and strategy of Ticketmaster’s sports business across our international markets.


Adam has been with Ticketmaster for over 15 years starting in 1997. Throughout his time with the company he has worked across a diverse range of client-facing teams, leading various operations teams in the UK prior to leading Ticketmaster Sport.


In 2002 Adam Project Managed the Manchester Commonwealth Games, which was a huge success with over 1 million tickets sold and distributed. He was appointed Operations Director in 2007, which broadened his role and ultimately he went on to lead the ticketing project for the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games comprising almost 11 million tickets, and Euro2012 in Poland and the Ukraine.


Adam has worked with many other international sports organisations and has run projects across a variety of territories in Europe, Asia and the Middle East and is a keen sports fan.

Ian Sanders
Director - Ticketmaster Sport

Ian has worked within the ticketing business for more than 30 years in box offices, operations and as an independent ticketing consultant. 

His current role, as the Director at Ticketmaster Sport, sees him take responsibility for the day to day management of the UK Sports ticketing systems. He covers Finance, Operations, Marketing, Business Development, Strategic Alliances, and Client Relationships.


Prior to taking on this role in 2009, Ian worked in a variety of different areas of the Ticketmaster business. His work with Ticketmaster began as a Call Centre Agent and has included varied roles such as Client Account Manager, Data Centre Manager, Regional Manager for the North, Regional Sales Manager and General Manager.


When not busy ticketing, Ian is refining his lethal two handed backhand on the tennis court.


Chris Belt
Business Development Director - Ticketmaster Sport

Chris joined Ticketmaster in 1995, following on from a 22 year career in sports ticketing where he held senior ticketing posts at Arsenal FC, Wembley Stadium, Chelsea FC and Tottenham Hotspur FC.


Chris was initially appointed in a Senior Consultant role which involved managing relationships with key clients in addition to working alongside TIcketmaster's international tournament team.


In 1998 Chris was appointed as Services Director and was responsible for the expansion of Ticketmaster's sports fulfilment operation which included the management of numerous football membership schemes which has remained in place to the current day. In addition to single ticketing projects including The Stella Artois tennis tournament, Arsenal's Champions League campaigns at Wembley Stadium and the PGA Ryder Cup.


Chris was appointed to his current Business Development Director role in 2004, where he is responsible for sales of TIcketmaster's market leading 'white label' ticket platform and services in addition to client relationships and one off events.

Richard Evans
Director, Tournaments

Richard has been central to the sports and tournaments side of the business since joining Ticketmaster in 1991, where he has overseen the delivery of Ticketmaster products and services to a wide array of major international sporting events and tournaments.


The highlights of his career within the industry include the delivery of several UEFA European Championships, beginning with Euro96 in England and with secondments to project manage the ticketing services in the Netherlands and Belgium 2000, Portugal 2004 and Switzerland 2008.

He also oversaw the delivery of the ICC World T20 2009, Rugby League World Cup in 2013 and most recently the highly successful Rugby World Cup 2015 in England.

The Commonwealth Games in Manchester 2002, Glasgow 2014 and the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games complete an impressive portfolio of events.


In his current role as Director, Tournaments, Richard is responsible for developing and supporting the Ticketmaster Sport Tournaments business and in his spare time enjoys the odd afternoon on the golf course.
