Thousands of Live Nation employees from every corner of the globe wore red on World AIDS Day and raised awareness about efforts to fight the disease.

World AIDS Day, which falls on December 1 each year, is dedicated to raising awareness of HIV/AIDS around the globe. This year, Ticketmaster and Live Nation supported these efforts in a big way. All of our venues and offices around the world went (RED) in support of World AIDS Day. Staff sported (RED) T-shirts and fans had the opportunity to donate to the worthy cause via text without losing their spot in the crowd.

Over 4,300 employees in 27 countries on 4 continents posted pictures, which meant we met our goal of raising $150,000 for AIDS medication in some of the poorest parts of the world. And with the sea of bright red shirts in our offices and venues worldwide, we were able to raise awareness in our communities.

This is the first time we've ever done anything on this scale and based on the success, we'll look for other opportunities to bring Live Nation employees around the world together for great causes.
